W.A.D Madawa Sanjeewa was born on 28.05.1974 in Colombo,Sri Lanka. Madawa is a Quantity Surveyor. His leisure time spend for painting.

The Stepping stone for Ma dawas artistic carrier was laid when he was a student of Ananda College ,Colombo-10,Sri Lanka. In 1986.Subsequently Madawa participated in several national and International painting competitions and won awards.

In the meantime he has excelled in stage set design and thorana creations.Madawa developed his own mode and style throught self study.His leisure times were spent on self discovery and experiment.Finaly expressing the non verbal languages of the innerself through noble creativity of art.

Madawas works help to relax the mind, leads towards deep thinking,bring forth emotions and psychological as well as mental therapy through use of colours.
During his carrier he is beinn honoured for his acclaimed work locally as well as internationally with gold and bronze medals,diplomas and number of certificates.
