How to Apply Fiberglass Epoxy
Fiberglass epoxy is easy to implement. With epoxy kits, applicators and other tools from home, you can fill holes and cracks in a few minutes.
Tools and Materials
* Fine grit sandpaper
* Epoxy Resin + Hardener Kit
* Fiberglass cloth / cloth
* Makeup Spatula
* Popsicle Stick
* Puncture teeth
* Sealer
Step 1 – Epoxy Mix
Prepare the surface.
Fiberglass epoxy kit usually comes in two tubes: the resin and hardener. Mixing the two in equal proportions or as indicated in the manufacturer’s instructions. Most of the 30-minute epoxy to harden after mixing, so it would be better if you only mix what you will actually need. Make another batch, then, if you’re still going to need it.
Step 2 – Apply Epoxy
Dip a small spatula or ice Loli sticks and fill the holes with epoxy mixture. For larger holes, cut the fiberglass cloth in the size of the hole. Apply a little epoxy on the hole. Step 3 – Sand and Seal
