How to Convert Polarized Plug to a Nonpolarized Outlet
A polarized plug will work with the best connection unless you connect it to a non-polarized outlet. In this case, you have a serious problem, because you can not connect the plug, because there will have extra holes that you need to power it, and you may not have a significant connection, such as earth wire. Step 1 – Switch Install
You may find that you can get your polarized plug for the work that you remove the cable, and put in new plug with non-polarized outlet.
