Harvest Kitchen
Nothing says autumn quite like the kitchen, warm size companies that are willing to accept, whether it be dinner guests look forward to your special pumpkin soup or the football team all year 6 hungry for snacks after practice. In modern homes, the kitchen is the social center of the house, but it was never more true than in the autumn, when cold air and the evening before each day of our pursuit of the room.
Let us look at this kitchen, through the lens of Sheffield Manual for Interior Design: function, mood, and harmony. First, the function of the kitchen in general have changed throughout history, it is not always the most popular room in the house. In Colonial America, the kitchen in the middle and upper class homes are often in the basement, with doors that open onto the backyard, and only used by the cooks and servers. Over time, the kitchen becomes a place where the lady of the house can be let down a formality, and from there, it grew like this: a gathering of family and friends.
The kitchen was built with this function it provides a place of assembly in mind. First, it is huge, we do not need to see the actual dimensions to determine that there is much room here. Counter with two stools provides a perfect perch for guests or family members to sit on while talking with the chef. You can imagine the parents prepare dinner while questioning the children about their school days, or a host of guests impressed with the performance of the crepe-making.
And clearly designed rooms with cooking in mind as well. This is what is known in real estate advertisements as “kitchen cook,” because it had everything to cook a devout wish. Notice how a refrigerator, stove, and sink the traditional triangle shape, which makes for the most efficient food preparation. Even better, the stove is on an island, which allows the cooking pots and pans near the stove to boil from three directions. Because the oven is not visible on the other side of the island, heavy cooking pot can draw from the oven and continue to slide across the table, or to the butcher block table to the stove on the island.
Once the stove is also oriented in this way both in terms of the principles of Feng Shui, the ancient Asian practice of placement and design, which says that the cook does not need to work facing away from the room. The kitchen is the most practical one that we see here in Sheffield in a long time. There are a lot of cabinet space, and there are plenty of drawers. Note box on the far right corner of the table, if you open this door, you’ll find three levels at which the lazy Susan for easy access to cooking equipment. Note also, three bowls of the sink: one for washing, one for rinsing, and one for washing vegetables.
In this case the atmosphere the kitchen, got a high score to indulge in a relaxing mood-state, without sacrificing style. Brick floors in the kitchen proper, Shaker-style boxes, baskets of apples in the foreground, and even the ancient salt and pepper to talk with this style.
Eventually, all things in the kitchen is consistent. All in all, the kitchen goes a long way toward making us wait for the arrival of colder weather, shorter days, and delicious food in the winter.
