Replacing a Sliding Screen Door Track
Replacing sliding door track is a fairly simple job, which in the end you may need to do. Over time, the door track to be worn and bent. Rollers may also be damaged. After several years, sliding doors may not close properly and sometimes they can be difficult to control because many times they get caught. In some cases, rollers and tracks can be cleared, but eventually they will be replaced. Replace bent or damaged tracks not work very difficult or time consuming.
Tools and Materials Needed:
* Vacuum cleaner
* Measuring tape
* Screwdriver set
* Marker pen
* Doors songs
* Metal saws
* Screw
Step 1 – Remove Doors
Depending on the size of the door, you may need someone to help you with this step. To remove the door, holding both sides of the roller and lift up to clear the track. Attracting the bottom of the door toward you, gently remove the door from the frame. Do the same with the other door.
